Ark Robotics builds autonomous robots for the most demanding operational environments. Our robots are deployed in Ukraine and we're now scaling into NATO defence markets.
The Field Engagement Lead owns the full lifecycle of field activity: demos, trials, competition programmes, and post-sale support. You're the person in the field who makes sure customers see exactly what Ark's technology does, and leaves them confident enough to buy. It's a high-visibility role that directly drives revenue and feeds back into R&D.
Сore responsibilities
You own field engagement end to end. That means running live demos of the A1, M4 and Frontier autonomy stack, operating and field-repairing the platforms yourself, representing Ark in trials and competition programmes, and leading post-sale integration and support. Throughout, you qualify opportunities and move commercial conversations forward.
Month 1. Develop deep mastery of Ark's portfolio and commercial offering, the A1, M4 and Frontier autonomy stack, so you can represent Ark credibly in any technical or commercial conversation.
Month 2. Independently lead live field demos and engage customer stakeholders directly.
Month 3. Own field engagement end to end, planning, prep, execution and commercial follow-through, with results to show for it.
What We're Looking For
Strong technical background. You pick things up fast, operate the hardware, and earn trust in technical environments.
Commercial instinct. You understand what customers need and how to move a deal forward.
Organised and proactive. You plan ahead, manage logistics under pressure, and don't drop things.
Comfortable on the road. Significant travel is part of the job, including some weekends.
Excellent English. Additional languages are a real advantage.
Nice to have
Defence background, military service, or experience in a defence or dual-use context.
Awareness of the European/NATO procurement and programme landscape.
A relevant technical degree, though demonstrated capability matters more.
