Ark Robotics is looking for a Manufacturing Lead to take ownership of our in-house production planning, execution, quality control, and production process discipline. This role is critical as we move from ad-hoc production toward structured, scalable manufacturing processes that can support production ramp-up and future international expansion.
You will lead local production operations, build repeatable workflows, improve weekly capacity and output planning, and ensure our production team has the structure, documentation, and tools needed to deliver high-quality products consistently.

About the team
Our Manufacturing team is responsible for in-house production planning and execution, assembly processes, quality control, and production documentation for existing products and future technologies. The team works closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Quality to make sure production is predictable, traceable, and scalable.
Your mission
Your mission is to bring structure, ownership, and discipline to local production. You will establish clear production planning routines, improve visibility over capacity and material availability, strengthen quality control, and create documentation that makes production repeatable today and transferable to external manufacturing partners in the future.
What you’ll do
Own local production planning and execution.
Develop and maintain weekly production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, materials, and team workload.
Implement subassembly tracking to improve production forecasting and reduce material shortages.
Ensure proper use of Odoo ERP for production tracking, material consumption, and output planning.
Work closely with Supply Chain and R&D to ensure timely availability of parts, materials, and technical inputs.
Maintain and improve quality control standards during assembly and testing.
Create structured assembly instructions, production workflows, checklists, and repeatable procedures.
Standardize production processes for technicians to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Ensure production-related activities are properly logged and traceable.
Improve communication between Production, R&D, Supply Chain, and Product Management.
Provide hands-on leadership during production ramp-ups.
Build a scalable production documentation system that can later support external manufacturers or OEM partners.
What we’re looking for
Strong experience in production management, manufacturing operations, or technical production leadership.
Solid understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, production scheduling, and output tracking.
Experience with assembly processes, subassembly tracking, production documentation, and quality control.
Ability to create clear work instructions, assembly guides, checklists, and repeatable production procedures.
Hands-on problem-solving mindset and ability to improve production processes in real time.
Experience working with ERP systems for production tracking, material consumption, and planning; Odoo experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage, mentor, and coordinate production technicians or assemblers.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across R&D, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Quality teams.
High ownership, structure, discipline, and the ability to move a team from ad-hoc production to standardized processes.
Nice to have
Experience with Odoo ERP.
Experience in hardware, robotics, electronics, defense tech, UAV, mechanical assembly, or other technical manufacturing environments.
Experience scaling production from small-batch or in-house production to structured serial production.
Experience working with external manufacturers, OEMs, or contract manufacturing partners.
Understanding of international manufacturing standards, quality assurance protocols, or NATO-market requirements.
Experience developing production documentation packages for external manufacturing sites.
Experience building or training production teams.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, process optimization, or production efficiency tools.
Experience preparing quality protocols, acceptance criteria, and production transfer documentation.
What success looks like
Weekly production planning is established and consistently followed.
Production schedule, capacity, material availability, and output are tracked and visible.
Odoo ERP is used properly for production tracking, material consumption, and output planning.
