Role Summary:
Working with mechanical systems, electronics design, hydraulic systems design and operation, software development, project management. Is able to coordinate the manufacturing of Engineering prototypes, communicate efficiently with Design Engineers and Test Engineers. Set and keep deadlines. Order in parts according to technical specifications and available documentation, is able to do primitive fabrication of mechanical parts and electronic assemblies. Is responsible for assembling parts sub systems into a working prototype.

Key Responsibilities:
Manages the fabrication of Engineering prototypes:
Manufacturability of designs (personal experience and feedback from external partners).
Setting and keeping deadlines for turning designs into working systems
Procurement of externally fabricated/sourced components for prototype assembly.
Fabrication of internally built systems and parts.
Giving feedback to Design Engineers:
Manufacturability of designs (personal experience and feedback from external partners).
Ease of assembly of designed systems and subsystems.
Reliability of designs in cooperation with Test Engineers.
Useability of designs in cooperation with Test Engineers.
Maintain and service Engineering prototypes:
Fix what is broken.
Regular maintenance and service.
Keeping stock of spare parts and supplies.
Key Competencies & Skills 3+ years of professional experience working on a relevant technical field. Has worked with Mechanics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Software, hands on Wrenching and FabricationProblem Solving: Proven ability debug ambiguous problems.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical designs and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.Languages Needed:English (professional working proficiency)Values Alignment:You resonate with our no-bullshit, high-accountability culture.
