We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. Core Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory research and identify suitable components based on technical requirements

• Develop engineering methodologies for calculating schematics, structures, assemblies, and individual parts

• Create 3D models and detailed design documentation; ensure alignment and approval within the engineering team

• Perform basic simulations and analyses using SolidWorks and related engineering tools

• Develop testing procedures; participate in prototype testing and interpret results to inform design improvements

• Prepare comprehensive reports to justify engineering decisions and design rationale

• Maintain effective communication with contractors and external partners throughout the development process

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer

• Background in mechanical engineering, robotics, automotive, or defense/military-tech industries

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks

  • Strong knowledge of mass production technologies for metal, plastic, rubber, and composite parts

  • Experience with ESKD-compliant design documentation

  • Understanding of structural material properties and modern processing technologies

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and documentation

  • Basic skills in using hand tools

• Production & Prototyping:

  • Knowledge of prototype and serial production processes

  • Ability to participate in prototype assembly and testing (Kyiv-based)

• English proficiency (B1–B2 level)

• Self-driven and quick to learn

• Strong team player with systems thinking

Will be a plus:

• Experience in preparing design documentation in accordance with ISO standards;

• Experience in servicing or repairing wheeled or tracked vehicles;

• Understanding of the operating principles of mobile vehicle electrical systems.
