Test Engineer RP
R&D
Tallinn
Full-time
We are looking for a hands-on, analytical Testing Engineer your mission is to represent the end user. You will put our robotic systems through their paces to ensure they don't just meet technical specs, but actually solve the problems they were built for.
You are the final filter. You will be a crucial link in deciding if a product is truly "Done" by testing from a human-centric perspective: does it make sense? Is it reliable? Does it survive the real world?
Сore responsibilities
Build test plans with the help of Design Engineers.
Design and execute test plans based on how a human interacts with the robot. You are responsible for identifying "friction points" that an engineer might miss.
Act as the gatekeeper for quality. You provide the final "Yes/No" on whether a system or subsystem is ready for the user.
Maintain precise records of what was tested and how it performed.
Ensure that new "improvements" don't break existing user workflows.
Communicate test results to all relevant stake holders
Build and integrate testing to the development cycle.
Provide feedback to Design Engineers
Analyze testing results to find systematic issues
Key Competencies & Skills
Precision in documentation
Good communication skills
Analytical and systems-driven mindset - You don't just follow a checklist; you actively try to "break" the system in ways a user might.
Growth mindset with a bias for building scalable, lean systems from scratch - If a test or a feature doesn't provide value to the product or the user, we don't do it.
Prior experience in a fast-paced constantly changing environment with shifting priorities
Languages Needed:
English (professional working proficiency)
Values Alignment:
You resonate with our no-bullshit, high-accountability culture. You’re a builder who thrives in ambiguity, believes in mission-first decisions, and prefers progress over perfection. You want your work to matter—to our team, our product, and the broader context we operate in.
