Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize analog and digital circuits for hardware products.
Collaborate with senior engineers to refine design specifications and ensure alignment with project goals.
Work on schematics, PCB layouts, and design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations.
Prototyping and Testing:
Build, test, and debug prototypes, including soldering and component placement for initial boards.
Perform simulations and real-world testing to validate design functionality, stability, and performance.
Prepare and conduct experiments, collect data, and document findings accurately.
Component and BOM Management:
Select components based on technical requirements, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Work closely with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
Prepare technical documentation, including design files, test procedures, and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in hardware design, development, and testing.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout (e.g., Altium, KiCAD).
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM, AVR).
Software Skills:
Familiarity with simulation tools and firmware development environments.
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C) are a plus.
Soft skills:
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving hardware issues.
Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design, testing, and documentation.
