Supply Chain Lead

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Lead.

As the Supply Chain Lead at Ark Robotics, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the company's supply chain operations. Your primary goal is to ensure that materials are procured efficiently, costs are controlled, supplier relationships are managed strategically, and deliveries are made on time. You will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing supply chain processes, including the full utilisation of the Odoo ERP system for purchasing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Leadership:

• Lead and manage the purchasing, logistics, and inventory functions.

• Develop supply chain strategies that align with company goals and ensure timely material availability.

• Set and track key performance indicators (on-time delivery, cost control, supplier performance, quality).

Procurement & Supplier Management:

• Oversee all material procurement processes, ensuring they are structured and aligned with production needs.

• Establish and manage supplier relationships, including price negotiations, contract management, and performance tracking.

• Ensure the Odoo ERP system is fully utilized for procurement planning and order management.

Logistics & Inventory Control:

• Manage import-export logistics, ensuring all necessary agreements and compliance requirements are met.

• Oversee warehouse inventory management to prevent material shortages or excess stock.

• Improve tracking mechanisms for material demand, order status, and delivery schedules.

Team Development & Coordination:

• Provide training and guidance to team members, helping them develop stronger supply chain capabilities.

• Ensure that purchasing and logistics staff focus exclusively on supply chain activities.

• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and R&D teams to forecast and manage material demand.

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and supply chain best practices.

• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Odoo) for purchasing and inventory control.

• Negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.

• Ability to implement structured processes in a previously unstructured environment.

• Leadership skills to mentor and develop a junior team.

• Problem-solving mindset with an ability to adapt in a fast-moving startup environment.
