We are looking for an Import Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team with a primary focus on import purchasing of materials and components. The main goal of this role is to support and ease the workload of the core supply team by efficiently managing procurement processes for both international and domestic suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct procurement of imported materials and components based on production needs.
Communicate with international suppliers: request quotes, negotiate terms, place orders, and monitor deliveries.
Oversee logistics of imported goods, including documentation and compliance with customs regulations.
Manage domestic procurement: identify suppliers, place orders, and collaborate with internal departments.
Work in the ERP system (Odoo) to process and track purchase orders.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and planning teams to align on material needs and delivery timelines.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on import operations.
Preferred background in manufacturing companies, ideally in defense tech or related industries.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher — required for daily written and verbal communication with international suppliers.
Experience working with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and stress resilience.
