The UGV Team Electronics Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and technical integrity of the electronic part of the base platform of the unmanned ground robotic complex. The role focuses on the development and development of the basic electronic solutions of the UGV platform, which determine its architecture, stability, and suitability for further integration, customization, and serial use. Ensures the reliability, scalability, and operability of the platform's electronic systems.

Сore responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

UGV Platform Electronics Architecture

  • Design and development of the UGV platform electronic architecture

  • Definition of basic electronic solutions, interfaces and platform standards

  • Ensuring consistency of electronics with mechanical, embedded and RF parts

  • Formation of requirements for electronic components and modules of the platform

    Hardware Design & Platform Stability

  • Development and maintenance of electronic circuits and boards of the basic platform

  • Ensuring stable operation of electronic systems as part of the UGV

  • Establishing solutions for long-term and reliable operation of the platform

  • Ensuring repeatability and reproducibility of electronic solutions

    Power, Interfaces & Integration Readiness

  • Formation of approaches to platform power supply and energy interfaces

  • Definition of standard electrical interfaces for connecting subsystems

  • Ensuring readiness of the electronic platform for integration of additional modules

  • Taking into account limitations and requirements for compatibility between subsystems

    Verification & Validation

  • Participation in bench and field tests of the basic platform

  • Validation of electronic solutions as part of UGV

  • Analysis of test results and adjustment of platform electronic solutions

    Manufacturing & Lifecycle Support

  • Design of electronic solutions taking into account serial production

  • Preparation and maintenance of technical and design documentation

  • Support of the platform throughout its life cycle

    Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong skills in designing electronic systems and circuits

  • Experience working with platform or embedded electronic solutions

  • Understanding of power architecture, interfaces and signals

  • Experience working with electronics for complex operating conditions

  • Systems engineering thinking

  • Experience working with serial or industrial electronic systems is an advantage

    Language Requirements:

  • Ukrainian - fluent

  • English - Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
