The UGV Team Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical work related to the assembly, refinement, and preparation of the base platform of the unmanned ground complex in accordance with the design documentation. The role focuses on the accurate and reproducible performance of mechanical operations that ensure the platform meets engineering requirements and standards. The Mechanic is a key executor of hands-on work at the level of the base platform of the UGV.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Assembly & Mechanical Works
Assembling mechanical components and structures of the UGV base platform
Performing mechanical operations according to drawings and technical documentation
Adjusting and fixing mechanical elements according to design documentation
Working with mechanical connections and fasteners according to design documentation
Support of Platform Development
Supporting mechanical engineers during the manufacture and refinement of prototypes
Participating in the assembly of experimental and pre-production samples
Implementing engineering changes in the mechanical part of the platform
Quality & Repeatability
Ensuring accuracy and stability of mechanical operations
Adhering to assembly and quality standards
Identifying and reporting mechanical inconsistencies or problems with documentation
Tools & Documentation
Working with manual and mechanized tools
Adhering to the requirements of technical and design documentation
Providing feedback to engineers on the practicality of mechanical solutions
Key Competencies & Skills:
Practical skills of metalworking and assembly work
Experience working with mechanical assemblies and metal structures
Ability to read drawings and technical documentation
Accuracy, precision and discipline in performing work
Understanding the requirements for assembly and quality standards
Experience working with production or platform samples is an advantage
Language Requirements:
Ukrainian - fluent
English - basic level (for working with documentation is an advantage)
Values Alignment:
Focus on the precise implementation of engineering requirements
Responsibility for the quality of mechanical work
Adherence to assembly standards and procedures
Team interaction with platform engineers
Willingness to work with repetitive operations that require high accuracy.
What Success Looks Like After 6 Months:
The basic UGV platforms are assembled in accordance with design documentation and standards. Mechanical assemblies are reproducible, without system defects, and do not require constant revisions. The mechanic is perceived by the team as a reliable performer of platform mechanical work and an important part of the UGV Team.
